Single Air: one A/C system serving the cabin. Dual Air: front and rear air conditioning with a separate rear cooling unit.

Dual-zone climate control lets the driver and passenger choose different temperatures. This alone does not mean you have Dual Air. Unsure? Our team can check your vehicle details.

Dual Air refrigerant allowance: includes up to 600g. Refrigerant above 600g is charged at $20 per additional 100g. The inspection is included in the package price.

A regas is subject to inspection and system condition. If a fault or leak is found, we explain the repairs required first. Parts, repairs and additional refrigerant requirements are quoted separately. These are starting prices, not a fixed price for every vehicle.

Why prices change

Refrigerant costs
are increasing.

The cost of the refrigerant we purchase affects the cost of a regas. Rising supplier prices for 11 kg R134a cylinders increase the cost of the gas used in each service.

What is putting pressure on R134a?

Australia’s HFC phase-down progressively reduces permitted bulk refrigerant imports through quotas. VASA reports tightening R134a supply and continued upward price pressure as existing vehicles still need servicing.

The phase-down is an import quota system. The cited announcement does not establish a new carbon-tax surcharge or a fixed increase per cylinder.

What does that mean for your booking?

The refrigerant type and charge quantity specified for your vehicle affect the cost. R1234yf has separate supply costs; the R134a quota explanation should not be applied to it. We confirm current pricing before work begins.
