03 · Quotes based on findings

Repair pricing starts
with a diagnosis.

We do not provide online repair prices or estimates. Similar symptoms can have different causes, and the repair needs to be matched to your vehicle.

Start with an inspection
1

Identify the actual fault

Inspection and diagnosis establish the issue and the scale of work required.

2

Check the parts and labour

Make, model, system design and access affect repair time. We check availability and suitable genuine, OEM or aftermarket parts for your vehicle.

3

Explain the quote before repairs

Once the scope, parts and labour are known, we explain the recommended work and price for your approval.

Why prices change

Refrigerant costs
are increasing.

The cost of the refrigerant we purchase affects the cost of a regas. Rising supplier prices for 11 kg R134a cylinders increase the cost of the gas used in each service.

What is putting pressure on R134a?

Australia’s HFC phase-down progressively reduces permitted bulk refrigerant imports through quotas. VASA reports tightening R134a supply and continued upward price pressure as existing vehicles still need servicing.

The phase-down is an import quota system. The cited announcement does not establish a new carbon-tax surcharge or a fixed increase per cylinder.

What does that mean for your booking?

The refrigerant type and charge quantity specified for your vehicle affect the cost. R1234yf has separate supply costs; the R134a quota explanation should not be applied to it. We confirm current pricing before work begins.
