Why do we charge for inspection?
What does Dual Air mean?

Dual Air means front and rear air conditioning with a separate rear cooling unit. Separate driver and passenger temperature settings (dual-zone climate control) do not make a system Dual Air. Unsure? We can check your vehicle details.

Before we inspect your A/C

Our hydrogen leak test involves recovering any existing refrigerant. If a leak is found, any cold air you currently have may no longer be available until the fault is repaired and the system can be recharged.

An inspection identifies the next steps; it does not include a regas or repairs. Further diagnosis may be needed. We discuss additional work and costs with you before proceeding.

We’ll review your vehicle details and request, check whether we can help, and answer any questions before arranging a booking date and time. If you prefer not to have refrigerant removed, we’ll confirm what testing is possible; this may limit leak testing and diagnosis. Sending this form does not authorise work on your vehicle.

Why inspection comes first

We don’t simply add gas
and send you on your way.

All car A/C problems are subject to inspection and diagnosis—even when you think the vehicle only needs a regas.

Refrigerant loss can indicate a leak. Adding more refrigerant does not repair it. If we find a leak, we explain the repair required before recharging the system.

If no leak is found, we still assess the system and explain the appropriate next step. A regas is recommended based on the findings.
