Our Car Aircon Repair Process
If a car’s AC system requires replacement, it typically involves several steps, including:
- Diagnosis: The first step is to diagnose the problem with the AC system to ensure that replacement is necessary and identify any underlying issues that may have contributed to the failure.
- Recover Refrigerant: The refrigerant in the AC system must be safely removed and stored to prevent damage to the environment.
- Remove Failed Components: Faulty AC compressors, condensers, evaporators and other components are removed and replaced with new ones.
- Flush System: The AC system is flushed to remove any debris or contaminants that may have accumulated.
- Install New Components: New AC components, including the compressor, condenser, evaporator, receiver-drier or accumulator, and expansion valve or orifice tube, are installed.
- Add Refrigerant, Oil & Dye: The AC system is recharged with the appropriate amount of refrigerant and oil.
- Test the System: The AC system is tested to ensure it is functioning correctly and that the correct amount of refrigerant and oil have been added.
